Intensive Language Courses for Companies and Professionals

On one of our week long intensive residential courses you will learn  and practise the language more, than in 8 months of conventional classes.

  • More than 12 hours a day of classes, practice and language training activities while totally immersed in the language , accompanied by expert native teachers.

  • Courses fully adapted to the level, needs and objectives of each student. (adults, professionals, directors, executives). Course content adapted to your specific sector or language area.

  • Prior to your course , we carry out and exhaustive needs analysis. ( assesing your level, specific language requirements and your personal goals). This allows us to prepare a totally personalised, tailor-made course for each participant.

  • The classes are highly practical, dynamic and participative, designed to enable our students to communicate effectively on the world stage.

  • The teacher helps and stimulates the student at all times, in a professional environment that guarantees and encourages maximum commitment and optimum performance by the student, Our residential programmes isolate our students for a week from their normal environment, allowing them to disconnect form the stresses of everyday life and focus on obtaining the languages communication skills they need to carry out their professional duties in a new language.

  • Courses start on Sundays at 19:30. and continue to the following Friday at 17:00.

  • 25hour Residential Intensive Weekend Course (Group or One to One).

  • Mobile Unit: If required, our team can set up courses in any location our clients choose.* clients

  • We also offer Intensive Online courses

We are always ready to study other options and even students have the option of combining their course with a sport activity such as skiing, cycling or trekking.

* Courses are usually held at one of our centres ( Panticosa village and the Balneario de Panticosa, in the Central Pyrenees or in Hotel Las Costa , Pals in the Costa Brava region

The town offers us an environment of impressive beauty and stillness.

Building specially renovated for courses, distributed in comfortable rooms with study table, DVD to watch movies in various languages ​​…

It has fully equipped classrooms and a library.

Nearby we have excellent sports facilities with a gym, heated pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and climbing wall.

We offer a free pick-up service from the Huesca AVE station.

O’Sullivans The Language School has been conducting intensive week and weekend courses for more than 18 years at this magnificent headquarters located in Platja de Pals (Girona).

In this exclusive and quiet place, you can enjoy the comfort of perfect facilities to make the most of our intensive programs. It has spacious well-equipped classrooms. Furthermore the hotel has a large swimming pool and gym. The beach is about 100 meters away, ideal for strolling after classes.

The Hotel La Costa has its own golf course where we offer the possibility of combining your intensive course with an afternoon playing golf with your teacher.

    8:00 h Breakfast
    

    Breakfast at the hotel accompanied by the teacher, at all times spoken in the language including the staff.
    

    8:30 h 1 Class Session
    

    In all sessions the student learns and puts into practice the five elements that allow effective communication in a language: expressions (professional situations), vocabulary (technical and general), grammatical structures (transmitting ideas and concepts, speaking (pronunciation and security) and comprehension.
    

    11:00 h Coffee break
    

    Small breakfast between teachers and students. Teachers direct students to speak in the language of specific topics (business) or in general. It is an interesting forum to meet other professionals and exchange experiences, acquiring “social language”.
    

    11:30 h 2ª Class Session
    

    In all sessions the student learns and puts into practice the five elements that allow effective communication in a language: expressions (professional situations), vocabulary (technical and general), grammatical structures (transmitting ideas and concepts, speaking (pronunciation and security) and comprehension.
    

    13:45 h Lunch
    

    Each student with a teacher (teachers rotate to get used to different accents and ways of speaking). The language is practiced in a general and social way, preparing the student to attend visits and teach him less technical aspects. Both the teacher, the Hotel staff and the menu are in the language and activities are carried out to promote social language.

    In all sessions the student learns and puts into practice the five elements that allow effective communication in a language: expressions, vocabulary, grammatical structures, speaking and comprehension.
    

    18:15 h Study and Leisure time
    

    Time to: consolidate knowledge, order notes, prepare papers and presentations. Do the “Roomwork” exercises. It is recommended to dedicate 2 hours. Then you can do some leisure activity with the teacher.
    

     21:00 h Dinner
    

    Dinner time is also used for the teacher to check the student’s daily progress and discuss the program for the following day.
    

    22:00 h Activities
    

    Movies, gathering, games. For these activities, all the teachers and all the students meet again to do an activity every night, always in the language.
    

    Attention

    CHRISTOPHER O’SULLIVAN
    

    More than 30 years in teaching and designing intensive residential English courses for professionals & companies. He has created / taught programs in recent years for students from companies such as Airbus, Iberdrola, Basell. Ikea, Joyeria TOUS, Melia Hoteles, PolyOne, Amec Foster Wheeler, Arriaga Asociados, Cefa, Yzaguirre, PSA, Chep, Schibsted Media Group, Puratos, among many others. 
    

    He has also directed intensive courses for students from the Bank of Spain, the Ministry of Defense and the University of San Jorge. 
    

    Students from a wide range of professional disciplines including: journalists, doctors, lawyers, advisers, politicians, elite athletes, controllers and pilots, filmmakers.
